Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 2 ½ cups water
  • 3 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 12 oz salmon fillet
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 avocado sliced
  • 1 sheet nori cut into strips
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Green onions chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Rinse sushi rice under cold water until water runs clear. Cook rice with water (or in a rice cooker).
  • In a small bowl, mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt; fold into cooked rice.
  • In a baking dish, spread sushi rice evenly.
  • Flake salmon over rice.
  • Mix mayonnaise and sriracha, then spread over salmon layer.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until salmon is cooked and top is slightly golden.
  • Remove from oven, top with avocado slices, nori strips, sesame seeds, and green onions.
  • Serve warm, slicing into squares for easy serving.

Notes

  • Adjust sriracha for spice preference.
  • Can substitute crab meat or shrimp for variation.
  • Best served immediately for optimal texture.
