Ingredients
  

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Juice of 1 large lemon
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Stir in lemon juice and lemon zest.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Let simmer for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley if using.
  • Drizzle over cooked fish and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Can be prepared ahead and gently reheated before serving.
  • Works perfectly with salmon, cod, halibut, or shrimp.
  • For a creamier version, add 1-2 tbsp heavy cream at the end.
