Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  • In a bowl, combine cornstarch, flour, salt, and pepper.
  • Dip shrimp into beaten eggs, then coat in the flour mixture.
  • Fry shrimp in batches until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  • Toast walnuts lightly in a separate pan.
  • In a small bowl, mix honey, mayonnaise, and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  • Toss fried shrimp with the honey sauce until evenly coated.
  • Add toasted walnuts and gently mix.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

  • You can substitute honey with maple syrup for a slightly different flavor.
  • For extra crunch, double-fry the shrimp.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey according to taste.
