Ingredients
  

  • 4 whole trout cleaned and gutted
  • 3 tbsp butter melted
  • 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 whole lemon juice + zest
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped fresh
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • ½ tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • - - lemon slices for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat (400°F / 200°C) and lightly oil the grates.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, and chopped parsley.
  • Brush the trout inside and out with the lemon-butter mixture, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Place the trout on the grill, skin-side down first, and cook for 4–5 minutes per side, until golden and flaky.
  • While grilling, baste the fish with the remaining butter sauce for extra flavor.
  • Remove from grill and drizzle with a final squeeze of lemon juice.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices, then serve warm.
