- 2 halibut fillets 6-8 oz each
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
Season the halibut fillets with salt and pepper.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in chopped cilantro and lemon juice. Remove from heat.
Place the halibut fillets on the grill. Cook for 4-6 minutes per side until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Remove the halibut from the grill and drizzle with the cilantro garlic butter.
Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
