Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz spaghetti or linguine
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes canned or fresh
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup white wine optional
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb clams cleaned
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and white wine (if using). Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add shrimp and clams to the sauce. Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes, until shrimp are pink and clams open. Discard any unopened clams.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Toss cooked pasta with the sauce until evenly coated.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedge

Notes

  • Reduce red pepper flakes to make it less spicy.
  • Use fresh seafood for the best flavor.
  • You can substitute clams with mussels or scallops.
