- 1 14.75 oz can of salmon, drained and flaked
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup breadcrumbs or crushed crackers
- ¼ cup finely chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil olive or vegetable for frying
- Lemon wedges for serving
In a large bowl, combine salmon, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, mayonnaise, mustard, and seasonings. Mix until well blended.
Shape the mixture into 6-8 small patties. If the mixture feels too wet, add a bit more breadcrumbs.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
Serve warm with lemon wedges or your favorite dipping sauce.
