  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small tortillas corn or flour
  • For the Lime Yogurt Sauce:
  • ¾ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp lime zest
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Toppings:
  • 1 cup shredded red cabbage
  • 1 ripe avocado sliced
  • ½ cup pickled red onions
  • Fresh cilantro leaves
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Cod:
  • Pat cod fillets dry. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Rub evenly over the fish and let it rest for 10–15 minutes.
  • Cook the Fish (Choose Your Method):
  • Baked Cod Fish Tacos: Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes until flaky.
  • Grilled Cod Fish Tacos: Grill over medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side until lightly charred.
  • Crispy Cod Tacos: Dredge fish in seasoned flour and shallow-fry in oil until golden brown.
  • Make the Lime Yogurt Sauce:
  • In a bowl, whisk Greek yogurt, lime juice, zest, honey, cilantro, and a pinch of salt until smooth and creamy.
  • Assemble the Tacos:
  • Warm tortillas, then layer cabbage, flaked cod, avocado slices, and drizzle generously with lime yogurt sauce. Add pickled onions and a sprinkle of cilantro.
  • Serve and Enjoy:
