Copycat White Castle Sliders Recipe

Copycat White Castle Sliders

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes
Serves: 12 sliders

Ingredients:

– 1 pound ground beef
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/4 cup water
– 1/2 onion, finely chopped
– 12 slider buns
– 12 slices of American cheese (optional)
– Dill pickle slices
– Mustard and ketchup (optional)

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, onion powder, black pepper, and water. Mix until well combined.
3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the ground beef mixture evenly on the baking sheet, pressing it into a thin, even layer.
4. Using a knife or pizza cutter, score the beef into 12 even squares without cutting all the way through.
5. Sprinkle the finely chopped onion evenly over the beef.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the beef is fully cooked.
7. While the beef is cooking, cut the slider buns in half if they aren’t already split.
8. Remove the beef from the oven and carefully blot any excess grease with a paper towel. If using cheese, place a slice of American cheese on each square of beef.
9. Cut the beef along the scored lines to separate the sliders.
10. Place each beef patty on the bottom half of a slider bun, top with dill pickle slices, and add mustard and ketchup if desired.
11. Cover with the top half of the slider buns and serve immediately.
